BLUE PRINT 2018 - claire picard

With a background in Fashion and Textiles, Claire Picard’s designs and illustrations are inspired by her love for flowers, the garden, birds and animals. Having worked as a lingerie/embroidery designer, fashion illustrator, and as a print artist, her illustrations are highly decorative, very feminine and  her characters have a whimsical, hand-crafted feel. Claire combines paper-cutting techniques, with ink or paint to create trend-forward collections and has become known for her novel colour combinations. Claire has worked internationally in the greetings card, stationery and home d├ęcor markets, and she also teaches illustration techniques online.  Now based in the south of England, she works out of her Hampshire based studio, and is excited to exhibit her portfolio of work independently at Blue Print for the first time in May 2018, taking part in show 2 (May 20th-22nd), Booth 37 on the Studio Floor. You can contact Claire directly for an appointment via her website here.

BLUE PRINT 2018 - esther bley designs

Esther Bley Designs is the studio of artist Bley Hack, who creates hand-rendered artwork for a variety of markets. Using mainly watercolour, but often mixing it with other media, Bley paints designs inspired by the fresh florals and vintage charm she spies on her family farm. Her collections range from tropical birds to farm animals, and often include sweet sentiments in watercolor brush lettering. This year, she will be featuring pretty new work with a focus on all kinds of fauna, including moths and fish, accented with beautiful loose florals.

The one above has been designed by Jennifer Orkin Lewis, and the second one by Harriet Mellor we posted last Friday. Below you will find a list of all the exhibitors....
New from Blue Print this year is their inaugural show in San Francisco.
