COMPETITION RESULTS - p+p scholarship

It's is time to unveil the winners of the 2014 Print & Pattern Scholarship for The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design (ABSPD). The competition received beautiful design entries from over 300 applicants from 39 different countries and had a wonderful time reviewing all of the wonderful applications. Entries were shortlisted by ABSPD co-founders Rachael Taylor and Beth Nicholls, with final judging by myself at the Print & Pattern blog. There were so many amazing designs that we couldn’t decide on just one winner, so we have decided to offer THREE full scholarships and SEVEN runner up prizes. Congratulations to all our winners, and thank you to everyone who entered. The three scholarship winners are -
Above - Anne Bollman - chosen by Marie from ‘Print and Pattern’ - I loved Anne’s striking desert design, which was my personal favourite.
Above Joshua Heinz Rachael Taylor was really impressed by Joshua's innovative design and clever use subject matter.
Above : Zoe Elsden - Beth loved the quality of illustration, the colour palette and layering in this exquisite design.
